Marissa Waddle

Hello! My name is Marissa Waddle, and I am a recent graduate of Grand Canyon University out of Phoenix, Arizona. My experience in education and working with children has led me to my dream goal of graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education degree. My hard work and dedication has awarded me this high achieving honor and sparked my passion for education. In all that I do, I give my best effort, and will continue to do so in my future classroom. To better understand me as an educator, it is important for you to know what I value the most when leading and instructing. The two most significant qualities and characteristics that I will continuously strive to maintain and uphold include a positive classroom environment full of praise and encouragement and building relationships with students that extend beyond the four walls of the classroom. It is my goal to make students feel heard, cared for, and respected when they are in my presence. Not only will students be able to walk out of my room at the end of the year discussing all the things they have learned, but they will also be able to talk about how good I made them feel; and to me, that is when I know I have made it.
